Is Drilling Required To Install Curt Trailer Hitch # 11321 On My 2005 Acura TL
Question:
I have a 2005 Acura TL and was wondering if drilling is required to install this hitch. Also, does it require trunk access or is it a completely external application? Thanks,

Installation of the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # 11321, does require drilling on your 2005 Acura TL. The hitch will attach to the bumper beam, so it does not require trunk access.
The Curt Trailer Hitch # 11321, includes a drawbar, pin and clip. To complete your towing setup you may be interested in the following items:

If you plan on using a hitch mounted bike rack, you will need to use a bike rack designed to work with a Class I trailer hitch. You will be limited to carrying 2 bikes since all the hitches available for your Acura TL are Class I hitches. A bike rack I recommend that is compatible with a 1-1/4 Inch Class I hitch is the Thule Roadway 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH912XT, as it features anti-sway cradles.
When carrying a bike rack or other accessory on the Curt Hitch, #11321, it is required to use stabilizing straps like the Curt Bike Rack Strap with Cambuckle, part # 18050. The Curt Strap # 18050 is recommended to prevent extra sway due to the low tongue weight capacity of the Class I hitch, in order to maintain the hitch warranty and also to provide extra support to prevent damage to the vehicle frame, trailer hitch, or hitch accessory.
I have linked instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # 11321 and the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # 118489.
