B&W Under-Bed Gooseneck & 5th Wheel Hitch System for 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup
Question:
I have a 2007 dodge ram mega cab with a draw rite hide a ball system. I have to use a slide 5th wheel hitch for my rv. What will work? Everyone is telling me I have to change what I have out to a BandW or have rails in my bed .please advice

The below-the-bed Draw-Tite Gooseneck hitch kit that fits the 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 6-foot-bed Mega Cab is part # 9464-35 which is one of the three Draw-Tite options for that specific truck. Long beds can use adapter # 9480 but since you have a short bed you cannot use this adapter since you will not have enough turning clearance.
To keep gooseneck towing capability, add 5th wheel towing and keep a rail-free truck bed you will have to use the B&W Companion Slider 5th wheel along with their gooseneck hitch install kit. This system will let you tow both types of trailer and still have a clear bed when you need it.
Install kit # BWGNRK1308-5W serves as both a gooseneck hitch system AND the installation kit for the 5th wheel Companion slider hitch # BWRVK3400-5W. B&W products are USA-made and are among the finest such items available.
