Question:

asked by: Bob S
Expert Reply:
Yes. The only difference between the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive - 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1,000 lbs TW # TVXL25 and the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive - 2" Hitch Ball - 1,000 lbs TW # TVXL2 is the hitch ball size. Either model can accept the other hitch ball size, but they are sold separately.
You can get the other hitch ball size to go with whichever model you choose. You can use the 2" Hitch Ball w/ Base for Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly - 1,000 lbs # TVBB2 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball w/ Base for Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly - 1,000 lbs # TVBB25 if you don't want to remove the base for a faster swap without a wrench needed or you can just replace the ball as the bases are the same for both sizes. For just the hitch ball, you can use the Replacement 2-5/16" Hitch Ball for Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly - 1,000 lbs # TVHB25 or the Replacement 2" Hitch Ball for Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly - 1,000 lbs # TVHB2.
