Trailer Hitch for a 2011 Infiniti M37x
Question:
I am looking for a hitch to be able to put a bike rack and basket hitch mount carrier. Both are made for 2 inch receivers Can I get a hitch for Infiniti M37x that will work with the above?

The only trailer hitch for the 2011 Infiniti M37x is # C11111 and it is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. You could use an adapter, # HTAD, to use the hitch with 2 inch accessories. However the use of an adapter reduces the tongue weight of the hitch by 50 percent from 200 to 100 pounds.
Since you want to use the hitch for accessories such as a bike rack and cargo carrier, and if looking at new ones, you have to make sure the accessories are rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.
Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements. I have linked the Class I compatible 2-bike racks and cargo carriers for you.
