Will Brophy Ball Mount BM20 Fit Curt Hitch Extender C45048 on a 2016 Ford F-450

Thanks to Etrailer I have the front of my rig all figured out. Now to the back: As you can see in the picture, I need a long extension. I already have a Curt Hitch Extension C45048 that I got from the dealer who sold me the camper. It is too short and I want to know if the Hidden Hitch Ball Mount C45048 that you have will fit into the Curt Hitch Extension which will probably just make things long enough. If so I will order it and by any chance is there any other ball mount that is longer at a reasonable price? Thank you PS: I sent in a positive review on the front mount hitch that I received the other day and it has been installed.

First, there is the extension that will fit a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch on your 2016 Ford F-450 if you are interested, the Titan extension # RP45292 can extend 24 to 34 inches.

Ball mount # BM20 is one of the longest available. It measures 13-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. It will work with the Curt extension # C45048 that you have. If the extension is at the 34 inch length then by adding the ball mount the overall extension from the pin hole on the truck to the ball hole on the ball mount would be approximately 50 inches.
