Converting Malone MicroSport Trailer Crossbar Conversion to Low Bed Style
Question:
Hello, I currently have a MPG460G Malone MicroSport Trailer - Item # MPG460G that has the elevated 78inch crossbars. I wanted to know if you sold a conversion kit that would allow me to convert the crossbars to the low bed version? I may eventually want to add bunks so I can easily slide the kayak on and off the trailer, but for now, I would just like to lower the crossbars because my kayak is fairly heavy and it would be easier for me to load and unload if it were lower. Thank you

Since you already have the Malone MicroSport Trailer - Galvanized Steel - 13' Long - 78" Crossbars - 800 lbs # MPG460G already comes with the Malone Crossbar Conversion Kit for Standard Utility Trailer # MPG475. It sounds like you are just looking for the lower crossbars but there isn't a conversion kit option for those bars. You can customize mounts just bolting square aluminum posts at your desired height to the frame and use the Crossbars for Malone MicroSport Trailers - 78" Long - Galvanized - Heavy Duty # MPG4001 if you still want the option of your current crossbars as well.
