You will want to make sure that the Jayco Superlite fifth wheel has a extended pin box of at least 13 inches. This will allow you to use the Reese 16K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Square Tube Slider, part # RP30051, on your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the 6-1/2 foot bed. The extended pin box along with the extra 10 inches on the slider hitch will give you enough clearance between the vehicles cab and the front of the fifth wheel when making sharp turns.
To clear the bed rails, six inches is the minimum clearance needed between the top of the truck bed rails and the bottom of the trailer loft. Any less than that could result in the trailer striking and damaging the sides of your truck bed. The Reese hitch # RP30051 will have a height adjustment of 15 inches to 18 inches on the head of the Reese hitch. This will allow you the choose the correct height you will need to get the needed clearance on your 2011 Chevrolet 2500 when towing the Jayco fifth wheel.
The Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit, part # RP50066-58, will be the correct base rails and mounting brackets for your vehicle.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Reese installation kit and a link to a FAQ page that will contain fifth wheel information.
