A true 1 inch spindle is a BT8 spindle, like # TRU94FR. The next closest one would be the BTR spindle which is commonly referred to as a 1-1/16 inch spindle, like # TRU44FR and is more common than the BT8. Both of these are typically used with 2,000 lb axles.

A #84 spindle, like # TRU24FR or # TRU47FR is bigger and is used for 3,500 lb axles. Common sizes for these are 2-3/8 inch round axle, 3 inch round axle, and 2 inch square axle.

I have linked a helpful page that shows the different spindle selections that we offer and what size axles that they fit. But the easiest way to make sure that you get the correct spindle is to go by either your axle capacity or the bearing numbers. If you let me know what either of those are, I can make a recommendation for you.

If your existing hubs have a 5 bolt pattern and the axle features a 2,000 pound rating (both of which are the most common setups for this size spindle) then the etrailer Idler Hub # AKIHUB-545-2-2K will work perfectly. If you happen to have brakes, the hub/drum assembly is part # AKHD-545-2-2K.

@ChrisR Okay Thank you for the reply. My question is the ( stainless steel spindle sleeve) both of them are damaged from a lack of trailer care . I measured od. its 1.300 where the sleeve would be. What would be your opinion on oil seal part # The original seal number is 470050. Would it be okay to use a new seal and don't worry about that stainless steel spindle sleeve .To be honest with you i have never seen one before . I've had a lot of boat trailer's is this axle spindle a manufacturers OOPS I don't know why they used a sleeve. From my research only the 3500 axle has them . I am confused, Thank you for helping me out i really appreciate it. P.S The trailer has no brakes on trailer axle system

I agree - a spindle sleeve would be really odd for this type of axle. Are you sure it isn't the bearing race that you're seeing? Does it look like part # L44610, which would be the race for the # L44649 bearing?
