Recommended Receiver Hitch to Carry 2 Bike Rack on 2010 Acura TL

I need advice for the best hitch for Acura TL 2010. Will the hidden hitch work? The only thing I will be carrying is a bike rack for 2 bikes. The bike rack I am looking at will work on 1 1/4 and 2. Thanks!

As a large portion of the hitch will be visible below the rear bumper fascia, I would recommend the Curt Class I Receiver hitch, part # C11496. The hitch crossbar is constructed of round tubular steel, instead of the square tube like the other hitches. Many (myself included) find that the round tube looks better and seems to be less visible.

On the other hand, if you do not mind the appearance of the square tube, the Curt Receiver, part # C11496 would be a more economical choice, as you are not paying for the included draw bar that you will not be using anyway.

You will want to ensure that your bike rack is compatible with a Class I receiver. A Class I receiver will have a stop punched or welded into it that will prevent the shank from a Class II compatible accessory from sliding into the receiver far enough for the hitch pin or lock from being secured.
