Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2000 Chevy C3500 with Utility Bed
Question:
I have a 2000 C-3500 Truck with a Utility bed. Frame is 37 1/4w. Dimension from bottom of frame to top of 2inch reciever tube is 6 5/8. Approx. 13 1/2inch from end of truck frame to end of bumper. Can you help me with which hitch will fit.

For your 2000 Chevy C3500 with the utility bed your best option is going to be a hitch designed for models that have the 10 inch deep drop bumper such as # C13099. that will drop the receiver down far enough but it or any hitch will be recessed a good amount under the vehicle because of the utility body. There isn't a way around that other than to use an extra-long ball mount like # BM20 which is 13-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole.
