There isn't a brake controller wiring harness for the 2005 Chevy Workhorse RV chassis. It is possible that the RV came with one. Sometimes they plug in under the driver's seat but would otherwise be located under the dash. It is also possible that it does not have a place to plug a brake controller into and could just have tow package wires under the dash. To check this look for a bundle of wires up under dash with a white tag on them.
If you cannot locate a wire bundle or place that a brake controller plugs into you will have to hardwire in the brake controller. The white wire is ground, black is 12 volt power, blue is output to the trailer brakes and red is input from the brake switch.
The white wire needs to attach to the negative battery terminal. Black goes to the positive battery terminal via a 30 amp circuit breaker. Blue connects to the back of the 7-Way in the 7 o'clock position. And red is input from the brake switch.
We have a kit # 5506 that comes with wire and circuit breakers. But you will like need more wire, # 12-1-1 which is sold by the foot, since RVs tend to be long.
