Trailer Hitch Installation Procedure for Draw-Tite Class III 75742 on 2016 Honda CR-V
Question:
I am looking to buy a drawtight 75742 for a new Honda 2016 CRV. two questions: 1 The video instructions are for a 2013 CRV. are the 2013 instructions applicable for 2016? 2 the instruction video mentions cutting the plastic under body panelinch but doesnt describe it. are the instructions and dimensions to cut the panel provided with the hitch? is there a video that might be helpful? thanks

The procedure for installing the Draw-Tite Class III Receiver Hitch # 75742 hasn't changed from the 2013 to the 2016 model. Each model year, Draw-Tite evaluates the hitch fits and will illustrate any changes in the instructions, which you can see by clicking the provided link.
The underbody panel can be complete removed, and left off or you can trim it using the dimensions shown in the installation instructions.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll need the following items to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness, part # 118561
Ball mount/trailer ball kit, part # EBMK4
