Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take look at this Bestop TrailMax II Fold & Tumble Black Vinyl Rear Bench Seat. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1997 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models, and on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this part is a replacement for your factory rear bench seat on your Jeep Wrangler. This is a Fold & Tumble rear bench seat, which will not only provide seating for your passengers, but also has the capability of stowing away to increase storage space. Basically, when this is stowed, the seat folds forward, and it opens up a larger cargo storage area without the hassle of having to remove the entire bench seat.

I did wanna zoom in and show you on the side here. Basically, the way you do that is you'll see this handle right here, and you just push this handle like that, and that'll release the back, and then the back will fold down just like that. And then what you'll do all the way back here, you'll see this handle here, you just pull up on that, and that'll release it from this striker plate that you'll install, and then they'll allow the whole thing to fold up, even further up to give you more cargo space. The seat bottoms are coated with nice weatherproof carpet for smooth look when they're stowed, and the seat, as you can see, can be unfolded in seconds. And again, basically, we just pull it up, and when we pull it up far enough, it'll lock this handle in place, and you're ready for somebody to sit on it.

Now, it does feature, let's go back and zoom out, features these dual headrest for comfort. Basically, you can just push on these, there's a button here, it allows you to adjust it or remove it if you don't want them in there, but if you put it in there, and you can see it adjust to different heights, and same way over here, you just push in on that, and you can adjust your height that you need. Also, on the very back here, has a nice, large zippered pocket that you can open up, keep any small items handy in that, and you can zipper it closed. Now, the TrailMax II seat covers are constructed from a premium vinyl fabric that maintains its shape in any temperature. It uses a waterproof closed-cell foam to help provide comfort, maintain the seat shape, and the fabric is designed to resist damage from the elements, mildew, and UV rays, and regular wear and tear such as abrasions.

Now, this part here is the factory-match black color. They do also offer this in a black denim color, we do sell that part separately on our website. The seat frame on this seat is electrostatically painted, helps resist corrosion, and it is hand-welded for added strength, ensures that your seat will maintain its shape. Now, it is a bolt-on installation, includes the floor mounting brackets and the striker plate, they'll install using your existing factory hardware. Basically, these new floor mounting brackets will replace the existing mounting brackets that are on your vehicle now, and the striker plate right here, that's gonna install in the back where your handle is, that'll install underneath the seatbelt mounting bracket, and again, uses the factory hardware.
