Hardware Kit to Transfer Trailer Hitch from 2012 to 2015 Ford Focus
Question:
our 12 Focus got totaled 2 months after we put a U-haul hitch on it. I pulled the hitch and want to install it on our new 15 Focus Hatchback. Id like to buy from yall the 6 bolt kit and wire snake for installing the 3rd bolts and the wiring kit. Preferably one that leaves the 4 flat connector under the vehicle like U-hauls. Pulling luggage in and out of truck at motels would just be begging to screw up your in trunk wiring lead, I think Also Im a welder so modifying the hitch as needed, if needed is no problem for me. Can you help me?

Sorry to hear about your car, hope everybody is okay!
Fortunately, the 2012 and 2015 Ford Focus use the same hitch. U-Haul trailer hitches are re-branded Hidden Hitch/Draw-Tite hitches, so they'd all use the same installation hardware kit. To purchase a replacement hardware kit, use part # RHK. In the provided field, type in 24872 as the part number, and chose Draw-Tite from the drop down menu, as shown in the diagram I provided.
Please note, if the hitch itself or the area of the vehicle where the hitch was installed was damaged in the accident, I would NOT recommend reusing it. The hitch might have unseen damage that would adversely affect its weight capacity.
