Weight Rating For the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Assembly part # 23-469
Question:
How much braking horsepower is developed in the 23-469 10.5 inch never adjust trailer brake when brake is applied to achieve maximum braking? How many volts are required for each brake to activate?

The 10" Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly # 23-469 does not have a brake horsepower rating, but it does have a weight rating. This assembly is designed to be used on a 3,500 lb trailer axle. If you trailer has a 3,500 lb rated axle and you are not overloading it this assembly would work great.
The magnet sensitivity is setup so that at full 12 volts the assembly will be applying max braking power. Any less than that will be related to that. So at 6 volts you would get half braking power etc.
