Can a Curt TriFlex Brake Controller Easily Replace a Curt Venturer

I currently have a curt venturer C74VV and want to upgrade to a curt C51140 proportional unit . Would this be a plug and play conversion or will there be other things I would have to change , other than mounting ? My truck is a 2006 silverado and my curt venturer works , but is hard to adjust and will not stay adjusted while towing .

Both the Curt controllers you mentioned the TriFlex part # C24VV and the Venturer # C74VV both use the same style connectors so the answer to your question is yes. You would be able to simply replace one controller with the other.
