To add a 4-way connector to your Sierra I recommend the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118384. This plugs into the vehicle wiring under the rear of the truck by the bumper and allows you to retain your 7-way connector while giving you a 4-way as well.
If you wish to change your factory connector to a 7-way and 4-way combined the connector I recommend for your 2013 Sierra is the Hopkins Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector, part # 30955.
This installs in the factory plug located under the vehicle near the bumper above the spare tire. Simply plug it in and you have a working 4-way connector for the lights and a working 7-way for your trailer.
Another connector that is designed to work with your truck is the Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket, part # HM40975. The design of the doors on this plug will only allow you to be able to use one of the connectors at a time.
