How to Run the Power Wire on a T-Harness Part 118482 for a 2009 Toyota Venza
Question:
For my 2009 Toyota Venza, how do I run the battery power wire from the rear compartment to the battery or other usable power source?

You do need to run the wire up front and connect to the battery. There is not a suitable power source at the rear.
You can run the wire underneath the carpet and trim moldings up to the firewall then into the engine bay, but this does require removing and re-installing a lot of interior trim pieces.
The most conventional way to to this is to run the power wire along the vehicle frame and up into the engine bay. Make sure to avoid hot exhaust components or moving parts that can pinch or break the wire. I have added a link to a video of a similar harness being installed on a similar vehicle. It will give you an idea of how the wire is typically run.
