Measuring Wheel Bolt Pattern On 8 Ft Fold Up Trailer For Tire/Wheel Replacement

Question:

I have an 8 foot fold up trailer and it has tires that are 4.80 - 8 and the wheels have 4 holes on 3inch centers. Are you aware of a wheel/tire combination that has those dimensions? Thanks

You can check out the attached helpful article that explains how to determine the bolt pattern. You may find that the bolt pattern on your trailer is actually 4 on 4. I have attached a photo of a 4 bolt wheel we offer that shows where you measure.

If you find you have a 4 on 4 bolt pattern, one of the 8 inch tire/wheel combinations I recommend is part # AM30000. this is a Load Range B, 4-ply tire that has a maximum load rating of 590 lbs at 60 lbs.

For a combo that features a Load range C tire I recommend part # AM30040. This has a 6-ply tire and a maximum rating of 745 lbs at 90 psi.

If you just want to replace the tires on your wheels, I recommend a tire like part # AM10004. This is a bias-ply 4.80/4.00-8 tire that will fit wheels that measure 8 x 3-3/4 inches. This is a Load Range C 6-ply tire with a maximum load rating of 745 lbs at 90 psi.
