Replacement Size 5.70-8 Trailer Tires
Question:
I have to replace 5.70-8 tires on my trailer and I want to toe a 850 lb trailer that weighs 450 lbs 1000 miles. Can you please let me know if this will work and which wheel and tire you would recommend? I am on a budget so preferably the least expensive.

In order to find the correct tires for your trailer, we will also want to take wheel bolt pattern into consideration. All of the 5.70-8 size tires that we carry have either a 4 on 4 bolt pattern or a 5 on 4-1/2 pattern. I have attached a help article on finding your wheel bolt pattern for you.
If your trailer has a maximum weight capacity of 850 pounds, even if you'll be carrying less weight, with your size tire you will want to use a Load Range B tire. The Load Range B 5.70-8 size tires that we carry have a weight rating of 715 pound maximum load at 50 psi.
If you have a 4 on 4 bolt pattern, I recommend the Kenda Tire and Wheel # AM30080.
If you have a 5 on 4-1/2 pattern, I recommend the Kenda Tire and Wheel # AM30100.
