No Power to Trailer Wiring Harness After Installation on a 2009 Ford Escape
Question:
Hello, After installing the following part#118251 and the OEM ford relays which all have the metal connectors in the sockets I still do not have any power to the vehicle end connector. Any suggestions?

Tow Ready trailer wiring harness # 118251 is designed to fit a 2009 Ford Escape that came with the factory tow package. It is possible that if yours did not come with the factory tow package the wiring or something else may not be present or fully functional. In addition to the relays though you can check to see if all of the fuses are good and in place.
In the event that you cannot get the harness to work then I recommend installing harness # 118551 which was designed for models that did not come with the factory tow package. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
