I have a 2010 chevy silverado 1500 ext cab 4x4 6.2 should there be problem with me putting on hitch on the front to push a travel trailer in the yard?

We carry a front hitch for your 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 for that you would want, part # 65052. This hitch has a line pull capacity of 9,000 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs so as long as you stay under that you will be just fine.

The Draw Tite hitch part #65052 is a confirmed fit for your 2007 Chevy Tahoe and will bolt right up to the frame without any modification. It does drop down 7-3/4 inches from the frame where it attaches as well like you mentioned.

As long as your 2012 Chevy Silverado 2WD is a 1500 model the Draw Tite front hitch part #65052 that you referenced will fit and work well. If instead you have a 2500/3500 model you'd want the part #65078.
