Suggestions for Using Erickson Horizontal E-Track to Secure Bikes in Toy Hauler

Question:

I want to haul an ultra classic and a heritage classic in my toy hauler. It is currently set up with sis D rings for tiedowns. My thought was to put three E tracks spaced out one in the center and one on either side of it. If I figuring it this way I would be able to haul my trike by its self or the option to configure the two full size Harleys. My idea was to have a configuration to work wether I haul only the Harley trike by itself or haul my ultra classic and heritage soft tail classic by them self. It would be awesome if I could figure out how to haul my trike and one of my he two wheel bikes like the he ultra classic. Any suggestions. Im not looking for the cheapest way out I am looking for the best arrangement of product. Your help is needed!

Since I don't have your toy hauler and bikes in front of me, it is going to be difficult to make a specific recommendation for set-up but if it were me I would use a few pieces of scrap lumber or cardboard cut to the size of the E-Track pieces to help figure out the best set-up.

The horizontal tracks are available in 5 different lengths:

# EM19145 for 2 in
# EM59150 for 2 ft
# EM19147 for 4 ft
# E19148 for 5 ft

Once you have the pieces cut I would work it like a puzzle loading the bikes in a couple different configurations and then arrange the mock E-Track pieces accordingly. It may be a bit time consuming but being satisfied with end result will be well worth it.

I have included a link to the E-Tracks and accessories that are available.
