Will a Hitch from a 2008 Ford Escape fit a 2012 Ford Escape
Question:
I purchased a hitch from you a few years ago. Its was for a 2008 ford escape. Not finding a model number on it other than it was rated at max trailer weight of 5,000 and tongue max of 500. I purchased a 2012 escape so i want to swap the hitch over to it. I assume the hitch will fit so I am looking for either the spring wire bolt guide by itself or if I have too i will purchase the bolt kit. Can I buy jest the spring wire device? if so what is the part number? Thanks

A hitch from a 2008 Ford Escape will fit a 2012 Ford Escape like the Curt Hitch part # 13650. What you would need to order is the part # RHK. On the product page you would need to enter the hitch part number and then select the hitch manufacturer.
Based on the capacities you listed you either have the Curt Hitch part # 13650 or the part # C13651. You will need to check out the product pictures of either hitch so that you can compare them to the hitch you have so that you can pick out the correct hardware.
I attached a link to a page that has all of our bolt leaders as well.
