Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2009 Mini Cooper Hardtop
Question:
I am looking to add your Class III hitch to my 2009 Mini Cooper Hardtop Base Model with Single Exhaust. I dont need any wiring, because I will use it primarily for a bike rack, and for a carrier platform. Can you tell me if this hitch requires any cutting of the bumper? And, can you recommend anyone in Delaware to install it? Do you have any photos of an installation on my kind of car?

For your 2009 Mini Cooper Hardtop Base Model with Single Exhaust you would want the Curt Hitch part # C11160. You should note that this is a Class I hitch and that there are no Class III hitches available for your vehicle. I attached an install video link plus some install pictures for you to check out as well.
Your bike rack will have to be Class I hitch compatible and you will have to use a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 when using a bike rack otherwise you will void the warranty of the hitch.
For a bike rack that would work great on your vehicle I would recommend the Kuat Beta part # B202-114.
