Trailer Hitch Capacity for 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid to Transport Accessories
Question:
Any estimate of how much weight the hitch and accessories can hold? ...

Your 2014 Lincoln MKZ can be fitted with two classes of 1-1/4-inch hitch, either a light-duty Class I type like the # 24897 that you referenced, or a higher-capacity Class II type, Curt hitch # C12091. In order to transport your cargo items I suggest the higher-capacity Class II hitch.
This Curt hitch has a 350-lb tongue weight (TW) capacity. TW is the downward force on the hitch from what is attached to it. You can transport your cargo on this hitch as long as the combined weight of the cargo and the carrier does not exceed 350-lbs. Please note also you'll need to use some type of stabilizing strap like # 18050 to support the hitch.
