How to Determine Hanger Spacing on 5,200 lb Tandem Axle Trailer

Question:

i am replacing mobile home axles and wheels on my 16foot trailer with two 5200 lbs dexter axles. Installing 16inch tires. Hanger kit APT6SE, 4 E5115 4000lb slp springs. I would like to know spacing of center holds for F, C, and rear hangers. I believe the spacing to be 32inch between centers, but I want to be sure before I have them welded.

For this combination, the distance between the front hanger and the center hanger should be 32 inches on center. The distance between the center hanger and the rear hanger will be 32 inches on center. This will put the axles 36-3/4 inches apart on center and the center of the axle will be 4-1/2 inches below the trailer frame. Take a look at the image I made for you which shows the spacing you will want for your hangers.
