Class I, 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch and Hitch Mounted 2 Bike Rack for a Scion 2007 tC
Question:
I want to get a hitch for my car for my 2 bikes. I should not require any wiring or anything else. I am not sure how this works...so if i buy this part....it should do the trick, right? Please advise.

You are correct. The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24827, is one of the hitches that will fit on your 2007 Scion tC. I have included a link to the installation instructions below. The only other component you will need is a hitch mounted bike rack that is compatible with a Class I, 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch.
I would suggest going with the lightest rack you can. The reason is that a Class I hitch only has 200 pounds of tongue weight capacity. After you add the weight of a rack and 2 bikes, you will be getting close to that limit. The lightest rack we have that will fit the recommended hitch is the Kuat Beta, # B202-114. It weighs only 12-3/5 pounds yet has a capacity of 100 pounds.
