Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Recommendation for 2014 Nissan Frontier 4 x 4 Crew Cab
Question:
Hi, I need a towing package for a 2014 Frontier 4x4 Crew Cab. I would prefer the 7 pin wiring harness. Could you let me know what part numbers I need? Thank you.

When it comes to a hitch for your 2014 Nissan Frontier 4 x 4 Crew Cab, I recommend going with the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 13241. This hitch bolts directly to the frame of your Frontier and provides a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs and 500 lbs of tongue weight. I have attached an installation video for you.
As for wiring, you will want to go with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118266. This harness provides the relays to activate the tow package along with the 7-way connector for the rear of your vehicle.
Since you plan on doing some towing, you might be interested in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the correct right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, you can use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
