Factory 7-Way Replacement Recommendation for a 2014 Ford F Series Super Duty Truck
Question:
By manufacturer Ford, GM, Dodge, Toyota and Nissan, do you know when the OEs began installing optionally or as a standard component a factory-supplied 7-way?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The truck manufacturers all decided to start using the same 7-way wiring harness connectors in the early 2000's, so the # PK11893 will fit all of them. I attached a picture that shows what the round connector looks like that the 7-way is designed to fit.
As long as your 2014 Ford F Series Super Duty has/had a factory 7-way installed on it, or the connector is present, the part # PK11893 will be the correct part to use.
