Availability of Replacement Motor for Lippert Stabilizer Jack

Question:

ive got a 2011 Keystone Montana Mountaineer with LCI Model 113407. The motor for the rear stabilizer jacks quit working last trip. When the switch was activated the motor would jump a little, but would not crank the stabilizer jack legs down. I just looked for any in line breakers but cannot find any as the motor no longer even jumps when I was trying to troubleshoot it. Is it likely the motor that has gone bad? We did have a tire detread on that side and it busted up the underneath side of the camper. Im sure the tread likely hit the motor as well as it is in the same area, although it worked for several trips after this. If it is the motor, do you sell the motor that would replace this motor, and it appears the power supply to this motor is hardwired in but I cannot find a connection to detach within 2-3foot of the motor itself. Does the wire disconnect out of the motor unit assembly

I spoke with my contact at Lippert and he said that based on your description it sounds like you will need to replace the motor on your Lippert LCI 113407 stabilizer jack on your 2011 Keystone Montana Mountaineer. Sometimes road spray gets inside the motor assembly which can damage the springs holding the commulator brushes causing them to rust. It also sounds like the semi tire tread may have damaged the motor. The part you will want is # LC138445. This part will come with complete installation instructions.
