  There are no over/under conversion kits for a 3-1/2 inch diameter axle but I can tell you the parts you will need to make one. You will need spring seats for 3-1/2 inch diameter axles, # TRSS350 and a new u-bolt kit # APUBR-35. The new springs will have to be welded onto the axle.

  I have a solution for you but there is not a conversion kit for your 3.5 inch diameter axle. You will need to weld on the Spring Seat for Typical 8,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles with 3-1/2" Diameter # TRSS350. Then for the axle hardware you will use the Replacement U-Bolt w/Nuts for 8,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 9/16" Diameter # 175666 and the U-Bolt Plate for 3-1/2" Diameter, Round Trailer Axles with 1-3/4" or 2" Wide Springs # 117581.

• Over-Under Axle Conversion Kit for 7,000 lb Mobile Home Axle
  The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00 is compatible with most 7k trailer axles. It is designed for 3 inch diameter axles which are standard 7k trailer axle specs but mobile home axles can be different. If your motorhome axle is this diameter, you will be all set. If your axle has a larger diameter, then you will need to weld new spring seats to the top of the axle. For instance you would use # TRSS350 for a 3-1/2 inch diameter axle which is the next standard size.

  You'll need to weld new spring seats on the opposite side of the axle so that you can move the axle to the other side of the leaf springs. So since I don't know what diameter axle you have you'd need to measure to be sure. The part # TRSS300 is for 3 inch diameter axles that are normally between 5,200 and 7,200 lb. Part # TRSS350 is for 3-1/2 inch diameter axles like what are 8k axles, # TRSS175 is for 1-3/4 inch 2,000 lb rated axle, and # TRSS238 is for 2-3/8 diameter 3,500 lb axles.

  A 3-1/2 inch diameter round axle is usually rated at 8,000 pounds but could also be a 3,500 pound axle though this is rare. You can get a more accurate determination of the capacity by getting the inner and outer bearing numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings. For a hanger kit # APT3 will keep the distance from the deck to the axles at a minimum and still have room for suspension travel. You will also need a u-bolt kit, # APUBR-35, for one axle.
