Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove the tail lights to access this harness.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring. Powered ModuLite reduces strain on wiring system.I am one of those people who was able to get a 2022 Ford Maverick only by removing the trailer hitch from the order. So I welded up a hitch and bought this wiring harness. Everything plugged in and it works as advertised.
I had to add additional wire protection in two places. It would have been nice if a foot of wire loom had been included in the kit. The Ford Maverick comes with a connector and pigtail that plugs into a 12 volt connector located inside the rear of the box. I connected the 12 volt line to that connector instead of running a wire to the engine compartment. This was a lot less work and made for a cleaner installation. Since it is a 15 amp fused circuit, there was no need for the fuseholder included in the kit.
I think there could have been more guidance on where to wire and place the harness. The zip ties provided were pretty low quality with a few that did not work. Also there was some conduit that was used in the install video that is not provided in the kit. I think it would be helpful to show an install with what is provided in the kit and not anything extra that I would not have lying around.
Wiring instructions are for gas only not Hybrid.

In this instance the harness works with both versions gas or hybrid. The connectors are the same with both options.
Instructions on tail light removal were vague. Had to google to find out the lights need to be pulled out at a 45 degree angle.
Kit was an easy install with no issues.
Used the 20 amp supply to the box on drivers side tailgate pillar rather than run power from battery.
Easy to install.

A year and a half later, the wiring harness is still working like it should. Only one minor problem - the dust cap is not quite dust tight and dust gets into the connector.
