Parts Needed To Install a Redarc Trailer Brake Controller On a 2022 Ford Maverick
Question:
I have a 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid and want to install the redarc brake controller. Does my model have a brake controller harness, or will I need to directly hardwire the controller to the truck?

It does not appear your 2022 Ford Maverick has a plug for a aftermarket trailer brake controller. It will depend on what type of trailer connector if any your Maverick will have from the factory.
If you do not have any trailer connector the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK53VR is where you need to start. This will connect to the Universal Install Kit # ETBC7 which would also connect to a factory 4-way flat connector if that is what you have. This kit provides all the wiring needed to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR.
If you already have a 7-way but no connector for an aftermarket controller then the Wiring Kit # 5506 can be used to splice in the Redarc brake controller.
