Have you ever been towing and had to deal with that awful back-and-forth jostling for your entire trip? It's enough to make you feel sick. And that bumpy, jerky ride not only takes a toll on you as you drive, but it beats up your equipment too, leading to premature wear and tear on both your truck and trailer. This is because most clevis hitches are made completely of metal, so there's nothing to help soften the road shock you experience while driving.
Fortunately, the Shocker Hitch Impact helps solve that problem.
The Shocker Hitch Impact clevis hitch is equipped with 2 rubber bumper cusions located at the top of the adjustable channel. When the channel body moves back and forth along with your trailer, this bumper helps to absorb the road shock and vibration. This cushion helps protect your equipment and, more importantly, keeps you and your passengers from getting jostled around the cab when you're towing over bumpy roads and rough terrain.
Unlike other shock-absorbing systems that use air bags, which require you to consistently add and remove air, the Impact is nearly maintenance-free. Just grease it up using the zerk fitting on the side of the unit, and you're ready to go.
If you tow trailers with various heights, adjusting the height of the clevis is an easy process. Simply remove the pins and clips holding the clevis in place and slide it up or down to the desired location. Once you have the correct height, reinsert the pins and secure the clips, and fold back the handles so they're out of the way. Then you're ready to go.

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the shocker impact cushion hitch with the clevis pin ball mount for two and a half inch hitch receivers. It has a 12,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this shock absorbing ball mount uses the bumper stop technology to reduce road shock, providing a more comfortable towing experience. Basically, right here, this will install into your two and a half inch by two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver.
And it's held in place, you can see the two hitch pinholes right here, with a hitch pinning clip or a hitch lock. Now, those items are not included. You would have to supply those, or we do sell them on our website. The hitch pinhole diameter is five eighths of an inch. Now, the channel mount up front here pivots up against these dual bump stops right here to absorb the road shock, and provide an nice smooth tow.
Over here on the pivot bolt you can see there's a grease slope fitting on that pivot bolt Makes it easy for maintenance. You just hook your grease gun to that, pump grease in there to keep it lubricated. Now, this is a channel style mount. It includes this clevis pinball mount with the two one and a quarter inch diameter holes to accommodate a variety of towing needs. Now, they do have a clevis pin that's designed to drop through there.
Now, that is not included. We do sell that separately. I do wanna give you a few measurements on this. The overall height, the two tanks that come out here that have the holes in them, the overall height from the very bottom to the very top. If we put a ruler on that it's gonna be four and three quarter inches.
The inside height from the top of this tank to the bottom of the upper tank is gonna be right at three and a quarter inches. Now, the center of the hitch pinhole back here to the center of this clevis pinhole up here. If we use the first hitch pin hole, there's two of them. So, the closest one is gonna measure center to center 11 inches, and then the furthest one, center to center is 12 inches. Now this is designed, it's perfect for use on farm equipment, fertilizer, spreaders, bailers, augers, sprayers, and other agriculture related equipment. Also works on trailers and many more. It is a solid, heavy duty adjustable channel mount. Does provide seven holes with a range of adjustability to tow trailers of various heights. And the distance between these adjustment holes right here is one inch. Now this is designed to only be used in the drop position. It has the bumper stops up here. So it doesn't, you don't wanna use this in the rise position. Basically wanna use it in just the drop position In the drop position, if you put this tang in the very bottom it'll get you a minimum drop of about five inches. If you put it in the highest position, it gets you a maximum drop of about seven inches. Now, it does come with these two easy to move ball mount pins with the clips on them. These pins, you can see have a nice large D-ring on 'em. Makes 'em very easy to grasp. So there's no more fumbling with small hitch pin heads. And the safety clips over here are pretty large also. Makes securing pins very easy. You can just pull 'em out like that. Slide the pin out, and you do the same on the bottom and you can remove the ball mount, or adjust it for what height you need. Again, to put it back in, just slide your pin in, take your clip, and just go ahead and push it all the way on. Just like that. You're ready to go. Now the channel mount is designed to work with all the shocker hitch ball mounts and attachments, including a standard mount, a drop mount, a pin hook, and many more that we do sell separately on our website. The inside width of this channel is three and three quarter inches. Now, this part is constructed of a grade 50 steel plate construction. It's cold rolled steel shank back here provides maximum durability. Does have a nice premium powder coat finish on the channel mount and the clevis pin ball mount. And this part is made in the USA. A few specs again. The application, this fits a two and a half inch by two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver, gross towing weight capacity on this is 12,000 pounds and has a ton weight capacity of 1200 pounds.
