A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

My 20 year old market light bases disintegrated on my Winnebago Rialta so I replaced them all with these side marker lights. The size was very close and I did have to make some relatively easy modifications to get them to work, but a year later they have been working great and there has been no moisture intrusion. I used white butyl tape for the seal instead of the rubber gaskets.
Was looking for replacement lights for pleasureway motorhome. I looked hi and lo over the internet and finally found them at etrailer. Placing the order was easy and user friendly. To my surprise the order was shipped the next day, in my hands within three days and installed within four days. It is difficult to get enthusiastic about hazard (marker) reflectors, but it is easy to appreciate a company that provides an accurate description, a fair price, quick delivery and a quality product.
I ordered this as a replacement for a broken light on my flatbed trailer. This is an exact duplicate, so I didn't have to replace all the lights to make them match. This is a high quality light, with no technical issues. I am grateful to etrailer.com for carrying them at a great price.

Grommet through which grounding screw passes has a small inside diameter. Had to remove the grommet in order to use mounting screws from previous light.
This may be an issue if you are buying this light as a replacement.
Otherwise, product appears to be of good quality considering the price.

Perfect fit for my 2002 Winnebago Rialta RV cab. Lens alone also available ... inexpensive to keep spares for unexpected breakage.
