Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com again. Today we're taking a look at the Brophy Horizontal Pipe Holder. This part number is EHR6 and basically, it's going to be one ring designed to work with both E-Track and X-Track systems. And reasoning behind it, just like you see here, this is going to fit up to a six-inch piece of PVC pipe.You could use that just for transport, but I think what most guys are going to do, what you're going to see it used in most applications anyway. You need to put a pipe in here, put caps on either end, so you can store stuff in there, whether it's copper piping, tubing, things like that, things that tend to roll around and be a challenge to store. This is going to give us a really nice way to do that.Depending on the length of the item you plan on attaching to the wall, you'll want to use these either as a pair, maybe three or four of them, just depending on the length.
You'll see we're using a four-inch piece of PVC pipe now. You see there is plenty of room to get that six-inch installed. Something I've seen a few guys do, and I think it'll be really handy, especially if you're going to be using this for storage of other items.Once your pipe's in there, you can bring it here to the edge. Just drill a hole right through both the hanger and your pipe, and use a self-tapping screw that'll keep it from sliding forward and back. You see that quite a bit in these applications, to keep everything locked in place.Now, from the inside to the inside, we're looking at just over six inches.
You want to ensure that the piece of piping that you choose to go in there, has a six-inch outside diameter. A six-inch inside diameter pipe won't fit.Now, overall, it's a really nice, heavy-duty holder. You're going to have a one-inch thick steel strap there that goes all the way around. And of course, that connects to our E-Track holder. You know it's really nice and sturdy, there's no flex, there's no bend, there's no give in it.
So it's going to give you a lot of good service. And whether you're using it inside a trailer like we have here, or you plan on using it outside, that clear zinc finish is going to give us a really good corrosion resistance.Now, when getting your holder installed, this is going to be like any other E or X-Track accessory. We'll pull that in, place that up and in, and then just slide it down, and allow that to engage. That's going to keep it locked in position there. We won't have to worry about it coming out.
Something I like when using the X-Track, this can also work vertically. So if you wanted to rotate like that, and place your pipe in, that'll keep things contained up and down for you.So all in all, if you have a need for containment, especially in trailer situations, or if in garage situation, you want to get something smaller stored into a larger enclosed area, these are going to give you a great opportunity to place a nice, large piece of PVC pipe up there, cap it off and keep things contained inside.

Having said that, I wish all the e-track accessories would clip on a bit more firmly though - they all seem to "wobble" quite a bit. With straps and ring hooks this isn't as much of a concern but with hooks and such I would prefer a more solid mount

There was always a great deal of shifting of equipment during transport. Now that my current trailer has E-track hardware, I can secure all of my equipment easily and quickly reorganize the entire trailer according to the job's requirements. If you've not got E-track, get it. It's more than worth it's cost in saving of time and convenience.

truck already has the e-track system so this was perfect and just clipped right in, does just what it is supposed to do
Used three of these, along with the existing e-track, to hinge a fold-down bed in the cargo box. Working just fine for that purpose. As with all my experiences with Etrailer, the ordering, shipping and delivery were all seamless.
Arrived as expected and fit perfectly. A handy addition to lawnmower.
These tool holders are unversal we use them for tools and strap supplies down
Excellent addition to an e-track. I use mine for pipes and fishing poles, hung up high on the side of my box trailer. I used a larger square bracket when I have fishing poles to handle the reel side.
I use this product to hold my DJ light bars securely to the wall of the trailer. It holds it securely in safely without damaging my lights.
Bigger and bulkier then I would have hoped, not something you can move with stuff in it so you have to have enough room to slide the entire tool out
These are excellent for PVC pipe to make storage tubes!!
