Today, we're going to be taking a look at the CargoSmart Lubricant Track Shelf with Slotted Dividers for E-Track and X-Track systems. Part number is 3481738.This lubricant track shelf does a really good job of getting oil cans, brake fluid, aerosol cans, things like that, off the floor or off of open shelves where they tend to fall over while we're traveling and into something that's going to hold them securely so we'll know that they're going to be safe while we head down the road.Now, as far as capacity's going to go, we've kind of tested different sized bottles for your pint jugs of brake fluid, or for aerosol cans, you can do 14 of those. For quart containers of oil, transmission fluid, things like that, we can get them six deep this way, running them this way and you can put a seventh at the end that will go this way.For gallon jugs of antifreeze and things like that, pretty much going to be limited to two.The shelf's going to come with three steel dividers and those can go in any of the slots. We've got slots here on the front and on the back to keep it from twisting or anything like this. These are going to do a good job .. They slide in there pretty easily, but those are going to do a good job of keeping items from tipping.

Maybe you don't have your shelf full with lubricants and you don't want everything to be knocked over when you get to your destination. Putting those in, keeping everything tight up here and tight back here, you're not going to have that problem.Now, the shelf itself offers nice steel construction. You can see it's got the gray paint finish to it. Overall, it's pretty stiff. There's a little bit of flex up in this area, but it's more than sturdy.

It's going to take care of the job that we've asked it to do here.As far as usable space goes, from the inside edge here to the opposite end, we've got 18 and three quarters of an inch. From the inside down here at the bottom to the top edge right up here, we're going to be looking at six inches. And then from the very back to this front edge, we're also looking at six inches.Now, it's also going to stick out from your E-Track or X-Track, at it's maximum about seven and one eighth of an inch. So, as long as you've got room for that, you're going to be in good shape.As far as getting the rack installed, you can see we've got our two E or X-Track connectors here at the back. The same normal push button release that you're probably used to.

This is going to work out perfectly with the spacing on the X-track, but also the E-Track. This is going to be for the horizontal E-Track, of course.We'll just get one side of it started there, get the other side started. Tilt it down. Pull it down, it locks right in place. Really nice, straight forward and simple.

Then we can get our dividers slid in, and again, these can go in any of the slots and they fall right in place. Nice and easy.That's going to complete our look at the CargoSmart Lubricant Track Shelf with Slotted Dividers for the E-Track and X-Track systems. Part number 3481738.
