Today we'll be reviewing part number CAM42613. This is the Camco RV Awning Repair Tape, measuring 15' long by 3" wide. The adhesive tape is going to provide a nice permanent repair for rips and punctures in your RV awning or other types of materials that are similar to that, like a pool cover, a tent, and many more. This also resists tearing in any direction so it's a very strong adhesive tape. Again, total length is going to be 15' and your total width is going to be 3". This is a great product because it's a do-it-yourself project. You don't have to take it to a dealer to get your awning repaired, or your tent, or your pool cover.
You simply use this as a quick fix, a quick solution, and it's going to get the job done. The way that this works is that you would want to ensure that your surface is clean and dry. You can clean it with a mild soap and some water if necessary. When the surface is completely dry, then you can use rubbing alcohol on a clean white cloth to scrub the tape bonding area thoroughly to remove any coating that may stick to the adhesive material on the tape. You want to give the surface plenty of time to dry, and then without touching the adhesive side of the tape, you can simply go ahead and apply the tape directly to the dry surface and then use firm hand pressure to ensure that everything is smooth as it should be and you're getting that nice fit. Bought it last year our motorized awning was ripped at all the seams. Was told by the awning comp in June the couldn’t get to it until October. Found Camco awning tape, ought a few rolls. My wife and I used it as a temporary fix, but this year she said I think it’s good for at least another year maybe more.

Worked like advertised
I used it to reinforce the stitched seam where my retractable awning awning attaches to my RV. This was a preventive measure only. The tape has shown no signs of detaching after a full year out in the weather of Texas heat.
Durable, strong quality tape. Using it for my RV awning and roll-up truck Tonneau cover. Tape prevents hail damage on my awnings' surface when its rolled up against the RV. On my Tonneau cover the tape prevents deterioration of the canvas over the metal support bars.

Just applied the tape an hour ago. Simple to use , followed the instructions and before I new it , I was done. It seems to be very sticky. Thanks for all the help. Robert

It protects the edges from the weather and rain.If I ever need more I will surely use it again.
It was kinda dry like it was old. I’ve used the same product before with good results after cleaning the area well.
It didn’t last a week
Used the tape to repair a small area of my awning that was coming apart. Working real good. Should be able to use it for the rest of the year. Maybe longer-term until I decide to replace it.
Product as described, arrived quickly, will look at etrailer for future purchases.
