I suppose if you’re a full timer you would probably want an installed water filter system but for those that camp throughout the summer these filters are perfect. I change mine midway thru the season and these workout great. The included flex hose certainly helps when the spigot is too low to the ground or for hooking directly to your RV.

I've not had our water tested, so my evaluation of this product is based on water taste and smell. The filter seems to work quite well. It's important to get the filter properly oriented when connecting-up. These filters are extremely popular but I notice that a fair % of ones I see on RV's are installed backwards. Note the arrow on the filter body rather than the shape of the filter when hooking-up. Also, these are not lifetime products. There's a place on on the filter body to write the date of installation/first use.

I bought this filter because I wanted something small and not big like a canister type filter. Today is the first day I used it and it worked fine. This product was shipped right away and with no problems. I have ordered everything from weight distribution sway control hitches to water filters and not once have I had a problem. The staff is quite knowledgeable and always get back to you when a question arises. Great company to deal with.

No matter where we camped across the country, this filter keeps the water tasting the same. The short spring supported hose, keeps the water flow from being pinched off by a kink in the hose from hanging from the faucet - because at every park the water connections are at different heights and angles.

Be sure to flush the filter before attaching it to your trailer. The taste of the water coming from this filter equals the best units in our homes. Good item to have. No way to tell when it is time to replace it so have a spare on hand.

I’ve used one of these for a year as I travel around in my pop-up camper. I’ve filled the water tank around 30 times. We’ve never gotten sick so apparently it’s working as designed.

Everything I ordered came in one box and was all in good condition. The delivery time was great. I have used etrailer.com now for many things needed for my truck and travel trailer. Does it's job but short lasting, when it starts to clog water pressure drops drastically. Keep at least an extra on hand when using this product.

Haven't had a chance to hook up the water filter yet, but have several travel trailer friends that use and swear by them. As with all the products I have received from etrailer, I'm confident that they will work as advertised.

You can never be sure of the water you might find at some campgrounds. Filter was ordered for use at all of these times. Have used it now at a small campground with their own well and was glad to have it available.
