Wire your vehicle with this universal, splice-in wiring harness so that you can connect the trailer's wiring to your vehicle's during towing. Designed for use with 2-wire electrical systems.I have a 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport. This is the front wheel drive model. I thought that I would have to remove the back bumper cover but I didn't. Once the bottom cover was removed, I removed the two push pins at the far corners of the bumper cover. That allowed me to push the lower part out far enough to get the hitch installed. I installed it by myself and after I figured out that it would fit, it took about 2 hours to install. Made about a 4"X4" cut in the middle bottom of the bumper cover and notched out the bottom cover and it was perfect. All that shows is the receiver itself. Couldn't be happier with the hitch. The hardest part of the install is prying off the two rubber exhaust hangers. A little WD40 helped. They were much easier to reinstall. I do have to say that the fit is tight to the hybrid battery pan that sticks out the bottom. I don't think there was much more than an eighth of an inch clearance on either side.
