Ford Edge
The package arrived on time. Box was a little beat up, but the hitch was perfect. I was able to work on installing the hitch Saturday morning. The video was very helpful and everything went exactly as outlined in the video. I did make one change to the installation however. The video said to grind out the hole in the frame so the head of the bolt would fit through. I chose to take about 1/16 off one edge of the bolt head and it went through without grinding on the frame of the vehicle. The loads incurred by these bolts are shear loads and will not be affected at all by the minor adjustment to the bolt head and this will eliminate the possibility of the frame rusting from not being able to fully treat the ground out area. The design of the hitch and brackets were absolutely perfect for my MKC. The technique for fishing the bolts through the frame was a LOT easier than expected. I Highly recommend this hitch. Sorry I don't have a picture, but it looks exactly like the picture in the website.

Was missing 6 of the 10 carriage bolts/washers/nuts for hitch assembly. Had to go out and purchase.

It is unfortunate that it was missing hardware. In a pinch you can purchase it, as long as it is the same size and it is grade 8 hardware. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.

I truly appreciate you reaching out, however, I had some major concern with the parts I recently ordered from you guys. I had two mechanics come by to install it then we ran into some major difficulties like the trailer hitch appeared to be too long, one of the side plates was not sitting properly. I've already called and spoke with one of the rep "Lori" with the extension #79514 and she asked for the parts number then stated that was the right one for the Lincoln MKC but she was unsure if it will make a difference because I couldn't tell if the Lincoln MKC is a Select, Reserve or Black Label. Miss Lori was able to provide several names to within 30-40 miles away that are authorised and certified mechanics who might be able to confirm the part then to send it to you guys. I was very worried and concerned when I placed that order, I called and spoke with 3 different reps who confirmed that will be the correct part. I would like to talk to someone who might be able to confirm that for me please prior going to the shop this coming Friday at 9:00am.

2017 Lincoln MKC
My hitch and wire kit shipped fast. I was kept up to speed on when it shipped. The wiring kit was not the correct one and etrailer shipped the correct one right away and provided a pre-paid label for the return of the incorrect one. The hitch is high quality and looks great and I saved $300 from the OEM one. Directions for installation are right on and easy to follow.
In my book I would recommend etrailer to everyone

Lincoln MKC
The trailer hitch arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date and was packaged well. The etrailer.com installation video was a perfect compliment to installing the hitch myself and saving me a lot of time trying to figure it out on my own.
The hitch construction seems to be quite exceptional although there was a few spot where the paint had come off requiring that I apply touch-up to prevent future rust. Overall, purchasing this trailer hitch from etrailer.com not only resulted in getting a top of the line hitch for my Lincoln MKc but, saved me quite a bit of money by being able to easily install it myself.

2016 Lincoln MKC
Monday 8/13/18 - When the box arrived it was a mess, part of the hitch was sticking out of the box and some of the hardware was loose. A little touch up paint on bare spots was all it needed. Wednesday 8/15/18 - I installed the hitch in my driveway, the video was good but left out some information. It was an easy install but I found it easier removing the wheels for better access. Not having a lift available it took me 1 1/2 hours to install. The lift is a bit shorter than pictured on the 2016 Lincoln MKC video. It is well underneath the rear bumper, and tucked away. Today I will install my Yakima bike carrier and see how everything fits together. Well made very good welds and finish.

2017 Lincoln MKC
I would have given it a 5 star if it weren't for the missing hardware. The box with the receiver had a bag of hardware which was two bolts shy. The box with the side plates had one bolt, nut, washer set by it self. So I had to go to the store to buy one carriage bolt. Other than that, the install was exactly per the online video, relatively easy, I did it by myself in our garage. The hitch fits exactly as advertised, nothing extra showing just the receiver. Very clean looking.

Received the Draw Tite trailer hitch 3 days early. All seems to be there and in order.
Haven't unpacked it yet but a look inside the box looks good.
Had a look at the etrailer site and watched the video to install seems straight forward.

Solid product. Great answers and videos. Shipping/packing was sub-optimal as the hitch had punched through the box in places and chipped the paint. Nothing a little spray paint couldnt fix.

The hitch still looks like the day I installed it. All bolts are still tight and there have been no rattles at all. he hitch sits just far enough under the back bumper so I havent had any issues while loading stuff in the back of the car. Still an A+ product.
