Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Easily attach a variety of accessories to the front of your vehicle with this fully welded, corrosion-resistant trailer hitch receiver. Perfect for winches, spare tire carriers and more.I installed this on the front of a 2018 F350. Fit an finish is great. Install was easy and directions simple to follow. Having another set of hands was very helpful, else it would be a balancing act I imagine. No drilling needed except for the cutout in the valence. My use is a cargo basket for four bikes and a kayak rack when pulling my fifth wheel. I have a receiver splitter that allows me to have both the basket and Yak rack mounted at the same time. Load up the toys and go...
After a year, I don’t know how I survived without this thing. I have had bikes, crates, and a motorcycle on my front hitch and it performed perfectly. I wish I could give it more stars.
A tight fit with the bash plates on my 2023 Ford F250. I also cut a 3 inch square air dam hole instead of 3 1/2. But had to extend the top of the hole due to the slope of the dam. The hitch pin hole barely clears the air dam. The hitch pin clip will rub on the air dam.
Thank you o Arthur for his assistance with ordering and the step by step instructions made installation easy to follow.
Welds appear well done, haven't installed yet. Delivery super fast, I was expecting a week and it was 3 days total. Only plan on using this to put a heavy duty bike rack.
Went on easier than I thought. Had to use two hands and a knee to put it up there. No need to cut your air dam as you just cut the hole small and use a big square file to adjust the dam hole. LOL. Shipping was great just a couple of scratches on the hitch but it’s hidden. Can’t wait to go camping and mount the generator on the front rack. Thanks Carl and your team for the hitch.
Shows up with nuts and bolts sitting on the ground and was told tracking number is not applicable for a damage claim. How do I know it’s all there for install until I get started?

I will have Customer Service reach out to regarding the damage and possible missing parts.
Pretty much a strait bolt up job. Trickiest part was cutting the plastic shroud so the hitch could be mounted just below the bumper. I use this hitch when I need exacting placement of trailers and to load extra gear on a hitch hauler on the front of my truck... I love the extra space.
The Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch Receiver was a perfect fit on my 2019 F-350. The instructions and the installation video made installation straight forward. It is possible to install in your driveway - just have a couple of 5 gallon buckets handy to support the receiver while you line everything up and move it into place. Also note that if your Ford has bash plates installed on the frame where the receiver is mounted you will NOT need to install the spacers provided with the receiver.
As my normal experience with etrailer, shipping was fast and communication was great. Even an email to customer service I sent on Sunday morning, expecting an answer from someone Monday, was actually answered later that day. As with previous hitches I have ordered from etrailer the hardware was securely taped to the hitch itself - a good idea considering the boxes almost always show some damage from the delivery process. The hitch appears well made and fit as it should. The installation video on the etrailer website was very helpful (note the presenter calls it a Curt hitch, but the Draw-tite part number is displayed.) I did find it easier to wait until after the hitch was held in place with the lower fasteners before I ran the fish wires for the other two on each side. This was installed on a 2020 F250 and the skid plates (aka compatibility brackets, "Prius catchers") were left in place. Spacers were included to allow for brackets not being present.
I mounted this on my F450 the day I received it. Although some of the details from your instructional install video varied for my vehicle, the advice to remove the bumper was spot-on. I thought it might be a lot of trouble to do so, but it was simple, and it allowed me easy access. I did not even have to use the wires to fish the bolts through. This receiver will be used for a big bed extender (goal post) in conjunction with a single roof rail to haul our kayaks while towing our 5th wheel. We’ve used this setup on our previous truck, an F250, for 4 years and can’t stand the thought of leaving the kayaks at home. Next up, figuring out the rail for the roof.
Exactly what i was hoping for. High quality product with easy to follow instructions and was very easy for me to install. Looks and works great. Thank you!
Service and shipment was excellent and very much appreciated. Install was less than two hours in the driveway. Other videos were right about directions making the hole to large but other than that fairly simple install. Looking forward to putting it to use!

Its Great being able to use the front hitch for the tilt-n-go and freeing up my back hitch. Good value for money!
Easy instal had to make minor alterations to the rough country aftermarket bumper for this to fit
Very happy with the hitch. I cut a smaller hole in the lower valance than what the directions said, 3" instead of 3 1/2".
When the rear hitch is not available - use the front! This was perfect. Thanks!
Fit exactly, easy to install.
Received the hitch on time. Actually a day before the scheduled delivery day. UPS always delivers and the drivers are great! Installation was easy once I I figured out how to use the fish wires. It is installed and I use it with a bicycle rack, luggage basket, and pushing a hay wagon into the barn is so simple rather than backing.
Not compatible with 2021 F350 Tremor w/ factory installed Warn winch. Quality product and installation appeared straightforward. Disappointed I had to return it.
etrailer is efficient and quick. Love their service
Very happy with hitch.

Great product. Using it when I go camping all the time.
It was a tight fit with my 2017 Ford truck. Wire ties got bound up and would not work. Had to take bumper off, 12 bolts. Looks nice after finishing, glad I bought it.
I have always wanted a front hitch. While buying a new 2019 F-250 i found etrailer ordered my first front hitch. 25 minute easy install. Did not realize how much i would use it. I find moving my 30ft boat around at the house, the front hitch is the best way. A friend bought a new boat. We both tryed to parkin the spot he wanted it with his truck. Could not get it in. I hooked up to the boat with my front hitch and one shot it was in. He now has a etrailer front hitch on his F-150. We both love the front hitch.
Must have had a bit tighter fit on my truck than shown in the installation video—couldn’t keep the spacers lined up or jockey them back in place while trying to keep everything steady doing it by myself. I pulled it back out and spot welded the spacers to the hitch but still had trouble with the wires binding up on one side. It ended up being easier feeding the wires through from inside the frame out after the holes were already lined up—wished I had done it that way first for the front-frame bolts. Otherwise, great video. Thanks.

Worked out fine—handled the 1100 pound tongue weight of trailer to push it into a tight fit angle into the garage that would otherwise be impossible backing to my blind side. The new truck’s 174” wheel base would have made it even more difficult.
On time shipping - hitch bolted on just like it is supposed to. thanks

Please keep in mind that the hitch has a 500 lb vertical load limit, which means that the hitch receiver tube can safely withstand a total of 500 lbs. This means that the combined weight of everything bearing down on that receiver, the bikes, the cargo tray, the splitter, the upright load bar and half the weight of the kayaks cannot exceed 500 lbs. Youll also want to make sure the splitter youre using has sufficient capacity for what youre asking it to do.
