Can EcoHitch be Installed with Draw-Tite or Curt Front Receiver on 2019 Ford F-250

Question:

I have not looked at the installation instructions for the above front mount trailer hitch receivers, therefore I am curious if both the Ecohitch and either the Draw-Tite or Curt can both be installed together? This would allow more versatility for installing accessories such as a winch, bike carrier, license plate holder, and receiver step, etc. For instance, a receiver mounted step can be installed lower to provide a place to stand when checking oil and doing engine repairs or maintenance. A lower placement might be better for a bike rack while a higher placement might work better for a winch. At the minimum, I think it would be great if any of the above manufacturers offered an optional front mount with two receivers. I imagine that would depend on clearance issues with other equipment on the truck and if it could be designed to provide that option, again I havent looked at their installation instructions or examined my own truck to see if that would work. I am also guessing the weight capacity could be affected by having the two receivers and of course not exceed the working limits of the truck. In any case, I would appreciate any questions or comments you might have.

That's a really good idea, but unfortunately the tab on the mounting brackets for the Draw-Tite # 65076 and Curt # C31078 actually use the same mounting location as the tab on the EcoHitch # 306-X7904 so you will only be able to install one of these front mount hitches on your 2019 Ford F-250.

With that being said, I recommend using the EcoHitch because it has a hidden design which gives you an OEM look when you aren't utilizing the receiver, plus you can then use a Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount like part # 325-GH-313 or # 325-GH-314 to use a variety of accessories in the front mount hitch receiver. Obviously you need to stay within the 1,000 lb vertical load limit of the EcoHitch as well the weight rating of your F-250, whichever is lower.

If you let me know anything specific that you are needing to use the front mount hitch for I can make some recommendations for you like the WeatherTech BumpStep # WT81BS1 to gain better access to the engine compartment like what you said.
