Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR Products assist handle with padded grip. This is going to be for the outside of your RV entry door, to help give you a little bit of an extra hand as you're getting in and out, so you can keep sure footing. This is going to measure about 19 or at about 20 inches long. We go from edge to edge is about, right at 20 inches.

The interior is going to measure more like 19, or excuse me, 15. The thing that I like about this handle, is that the grip is pretty nice and padded. It has a little bit of give, so it's not just a hard rubber, it's a little bit squishy, and feels pretty good in your hand. Plenty of little grooves, so you can get a pretty good purchase on it, and an index is pretty well.So you'll have plenty of room to get in and out of your RV. As you can see, they just fell off, but these little pads are going to be the parts that actually protect the surface of your entry door, or the outside of your door on your RV.

So it's just a little pad to help keep that nice and clean, so you don't have any scratches or abrasions. Also helps to keep out any buildup of water in the actual handle. Now it doesn't come with the hardware to get this installed, you will have to pick up that on your own. The holes that this will fit, we'll measure those really quickly. Each of those are about a quarter inch in diameter.

So as long as your hardware is about a quarter inch it's should work just fine, and should get you mounted up right away. The distance from the surface to the outside of our handle, so the added space that we've got for this is about three and a half inches, maybe about three and five eighths.The distance between the surface and our handle, is about two and a half inches. So that's about how much space we have to get underneath, or get in between our RV and the handle itself. All in all pretty simple product, you just need to have those four holes to get that mounted up. So if you're replacing an existing handle, the distance between those mounting holes, give you that tier, from the inner most, two mounting holes center to center, it's about 15 and a half inches, to the outer most or top to bottom, it's about 17 and a half inches.

So as long as your mounting holes match up with that, this should be just a direct replacement for that handle. Otherwise, if you did already have one, you will have to make a couple of holes to get this put in place. This is all also available in white.
