Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the city water dish. This is going to replace the city water check valve if yours has become worn or damaged on your RV.This is made of a UV and impact resistant plastic. It's also going to resist road salts and acids, so it should hold up well for you and do a good job for a long time to come. The plastic valve here is 1/2" MPT, so it should fit in easily with your current setup.We want to give you a few dimensions, made sure this is going to work for you.

So our outside diameter, you're looking about 4-3/4". I could get this lined up straight for you. Yep, 4-3/4. Our cutout dimension, you'll note that we're going to need.. The opening that we're going to need is going to be right about 3-1/2".

Our dish depth. Let me put my ruler in there. It's right about 3/4". Our valve depth is going to be kind of hard to determine or to show, but it's right there about 3". You can see there.This is the polar white color, so it should blend in nicely with the exterior of your RV.

It does have this plastic cap to help prevent any sort of dust, dirt getting into your system. You also have that little removable filter there. It's got the silicon edge to it so that all the water is being pushed through there to help keep out any unwanted contaminants from getting into your system. When you're not using it you can simply put that cap back in place and it will help keep your system sealed up.That's pretty much all there is to our city water dish.
