Micheal: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products, propane adapter hose for small appliances. Like most of your propane hoses, this is designed to allow you to run your LP gas through to power up your propane-powered appliances. This hose specifically will allow you to connect a small portable appliance to a T-fitting or a propane tree. It could also be used to connect to a one-pound disposable cylinder. And when you're looking for a propane hose, the functionality is one thing that you want to look into. There are a few things that I would recommend focusing on to make sure that it's going to work for your setup.
The first thing is going to be your links. So obviously you want it to be able to reach from point A to point B. So whether that's from your propane tree to your appliance or your T-fitting, whatever the case may be, you want it to be able to span that distance. This is a five feet long hose, so as long as you're pointing A point B are less than five feet away, you should be good there. This is a rubber hose, so it's going to be very flexible and durable. You're not going to have to worry about kinks or cracking or anything like that.
So it should hold up well and do a good job for you. It's got an internal diameter of a 1/4 of an inch, so that's going to be plenty of room for that LP gas to flow through there, to power up your appliance. The next thing you want to look at are your fittings. So there are lots of different fittings available for propane hoses and appliances. You want to make sure that you're getting the fittings that you need. So here we have basically the same fitting just in reverse.
So we've got a male 1 inch x 20, or it's sometimes called a number 600 or a throwaway fitting or disposable cylinder port. And here we have the female version of that. So these are going to fit basically together and see like that.So you're going to be looking for your fittings that are like this. Obviously, this end is going to plug into one that looks like this and vice versa. So you want to make sure that you're getting the hose that has the right fittings that you need.
This hose is UL as well as CSA approved, so it's going to meet those high quality standards. Should hold up well, do the job that you need it to do. Keep in mind, this hose is only designed for LP gas, so don't use any other kinds of gas or water or anything like that in this. Now, if this is not the hose that you need, maybe you need a longer lengths or different fittings, whatever the case may be, I'd encourage you to come and take a look at our other options here at etrailer.com. Our goal is always to help you find the product that's going to solve your problems, so you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors. We want to make sure that you get the product that you need. That's going to complete our look at the JR Products, propane adapter hose for small appliances.
