  • Is Bike Frame Adapter Bar Needed When Carrying Womens Bike with Swagman Titan
  • If you wanted to carry a female frame styled bike with the Swagman Titan part # S63400 you would want a bike frame adapter bar like the part # UB01. This attaches to the seat post of the bike and to the steering stem to give the bike a horizontal attachment point. I attached an install link for this for you to check out as well. As long as you have a hitch installed on your 2016 Subaru Crosstrek like the part # E98838 this will fit and work well. I really like this hitch as it has a 2...

  • How Do You Mount a Step-Thru Bike on the Saris Freedom Bike Rack
  • I do not have a photo of a Specialized Turbo Como 3.0 step through e-bike on the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Fat Bikes # SA4412B-FB. But I have included a video that demonstrates how to operate the bike rack. In the video, you can see that the clamp is actually being attached to the lower tube of the bike, which is ideal for a step thru bike because it will not have that top bar for attachment. I have also included a photo of the rack with a white bike, the white bike allows you to see...

  • Can I Fit 2 Thule ProrRide XT Bike Racks on My 2017 Subaru Crosstrek's Factory Crossbars?
  • Yes, since you have 29-30 inches of crossbar space on your 2017 Subaru Crosstrek's factory crossbars, you will have enough room to carry 2 Thule ProRide XT # TH598004 bike racks on your roof. In order to make this work, you will most likely need to install one rack backwards so that the handlebars of your two bikes do not interfere during mounting or transport.

In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking...

  • According the the installation guide, which I have linked for you, this should take approximately two hours to install. • Are 1-1/2 Bolts Included W/ Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver 76029 Too Short To Install?
  • While the 1-1/2" bolts included with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76209 you were looking at for your 2021 Subaru Crosstrek sound short, only the front two bolts will use the spacer between the hitch and the frame, and will be roughly flush with the end of the nut. This is how Draw-Tite designed and tested the hitch, and was done to keep excess thread from sticking down. I included a video of the # 76209 being installed to show you exactly how the bolts will work when installed.

  • Bicycle Hitch Rack Hardware
  • If you are purchasing a new bicycle hitch rack the hardware to attach the rack to your hitch receiver will come with the rack. I prefer the Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack, part # NV22G, because it is a platform rack that holds the bike by the wheels ensuring the rack does not touch the frame. This is especially preferable if you are transporting bikes with carbon frames. I have included a link below.

  • Is it Normal for the Bike to Not Be Level on a Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack?
  • The reason why there is a slight slope on the rack is because it helps a bit with ground clearance with the weight of the bikes on the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack # SH22G. With the angle, it helps prevent drag in the back. I went ahead and attached some photos that show the angle.

  • Can Draw-Tite Hitch Be Installed on a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Without a Lift or Ramps
  • If you and a set of extra helping hands can fit under your 2023 Subaru Crosstrek then you should be able to wiggle the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36644 around enough to get it installed. I know for myself that I'm big enough I would need to have a vehicle lifted up unless it was on a bigger vehicle like a truck. Since you don't already have service ramps I do recommend picking up the FloTool RhinoRamps Vehicle Ramp Set # FT11909MI and keeping them handy in your garage. I'm not...

  • Should Snow Tire Chains/Cables be Installed on Front, Rear, or Both Tires for a Subaru AWD Vehicle
  • The hard and fast rule that we tell people when it comes to using snow tire chains or cables like the Titan Chain # TC339DC that you referenced is to follow the instructions in the owner's manual. If your Subaru manual says to only use chains/cables on your front set of wheels then that is the only place you should install them as Subaru knows the limitations of your vehicle. The only time following the instructions in the manual can get contradictory is when the manual says not to use...

  • 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Aftermarket Hitch Installation
  • The aftermarket hitches we offer do not install using the OEM hitch opening. Both the light-duty 1-1/4-inch Class I hitches and the higher-capacity 2-inch Class III hitches like # 76084 made for your car mount under the bumper cover as you noted. When a choice is available, I always recommend the sturdier higher-capacity hitch. The Class III Draw-Tite # 76084 will give you better compatibility with a range of hitch-mount accessories like cargo carriers and bike racks. Please refer to the...
