Today we're going to be taking a look at the EZ Coupler 90-Degree Bayonet Sewer Fitting. It's available in clear with part number F02-3112CL or in red, part number F02-3112. This sewer fitting is going to allow you to adapt your standard three inch RV sewer hose to a dump station. The bayonet fittings lock it in place and the black rubber seal prevents leaks. It has four different fittings. It has a three inch slip, a three inch threaded, a 3 1/2 inch threaded, and a four inch threaded.
The 90 degree angle's going to help reduce stress on our hose. The clear option is going to allow you to see when your black water tank is empty. Bayonet fitting easily twists onto standard 3" lug fitting on sewer hose.My package of fittings arrived right on time and were put to use immediately when I took them to our local building supply to verify piping sizes and temporarily assemble and measure a mockup of our drain line. It was a great help to do that, as I discovered that hard-plumbing the sewer line was a bad idea. Instead, a flexible/removable joint was added close to the "L" adapter to the septic inlet, which will allow for removal of the line in winter and ease repair efforts in case the line gets plugged or is damaged.
