I have a solution for you if you have drum brakes, but I spoke with my contact at Titan and he did not have a recommended way to manually lock out a trailer brake actuator that has an electric reverse lockout.
The best thing you can do is get some free backing trailer brakes. These brakes allow your trailer to back up without activating the brakes, even if your trailer does not have a reverse lockout. Since I do not know what size brakes you have I attached a page that has all of the different... view full answer...
There are 2 metal rings welded to the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # 11130, on each side of the receiver to attach safety chains. You will have to reach up behind the bumper fascia to connect the safety chains.
For safety chains, we have 48 Inch Long Safety Chain, part # 2114-553-04. For quick links to attach the chains, we have the Safety Chain Quick Link, part # C82932.
Instructions and a video installation of the Curt Trailer Hitch # 11130 are linked. view full answer...
Yes, crossbeam of the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH87FR will replace the factory bumper beam on your 2019 Mini Cooper. This is pretty common with this style of trailer hitch since the whole idea is for it to be as hidden as possible so the manufacturer reinforces that beam enough to handle the impact of a collision like the factory beam would. view full answer...
When I first got my Raceway bike rack, I had the same problem. There are a couple of things that you can try to get the top hooks in place. First, what works for me is to put the hook above the opening it needs to go into and then pushing it into place. The coating protects the vehicle from any damage.
Another thing you can do is pull out some slack from the retractable cable and try to get the hook in at the corner or edge and then slide it over into position. This works for me when I... view full answer...
The 4-way round connector is very rare and the 6-way round is somewhat common but more rare than 4-way flats and 7-ways so what that means is that we don't have an adapter for your configuration but I have a similar solution. We have a version of the Custer Wireless Tow Bar Light that uses a 7-way blade with the part # LIW-LDTL-7B which we do have adapters for like with the # 337TC1067P which plugs into your 6-way and converts to same connector as the tow bar. view full answer...
According to page 129 of the online owner's manual I looked up for a 2004 Mini Cooper, if it has front wheel drive, it cannot be flat towed as it will damage the transmission, so you will need a tow dolly. The best option for that is from Roadmaster:
- Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1
The Roadmaster dolly will allow you to tow your Mini and is the best option because it allows for the tightest maneuverability for a dolly, and because its electric brakes give you complete... view full answer...
For activating the tail lights of your 2008 Mini Cooper with your RV while the Mini is being flat-towed you will want to check out the FAQs I attached that detail how this is done. The process and installation will be the exact same as what you would need to do to install a diode kit on your vehicle.
Basically, you will use a set of diodes installed in your vehicle to operate the tail lights of you vehicle with the tow bar wiring from your RV. This will not affect the functioning of your... view full answer...
When dolly towing a manual transmission vehicle you should follow any instructions outlined in your owner's manual. If your owners manual doesn't specify, then I recommend putting the vehicle in neutral and not in gear. The wheel nets should have no issue holding your vehicle in place on the dolly.
In a worst case scenario this would be less likely to cause any transmission problems.

The video you watched for the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 was installed on a 2016 Mini Cooper, and the missing colors are likely due from a harness change from 2013-2016, which isn't all that uncommon.
Instead, you're going to need to test your vehicle's harness with a circuit tester # PTW2993 for functionality and match the wires to the wire harness based on functionality.
The wire code for # RM-15267 is as follows:
-Green = Right Turn.

Your 2013 Mini Countryman uses a 3-wire lighting system. That means there is a wire for the turn signals, stop lights, and taillights. You will need to install a diode on each of these circuits to prevent power backfeed. If you take a look at the attached photo/article this will give you a better idea of how to wire them properly. If you need an additional two diodes for the extra wires you can use part # RM-792. view full answer...
The 4-pin round connector that includes the transmitter for the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light # LIW-LDTL will plug into the 4-pin connector on your motorhome and then transmit the signal to the light bar.
If you do not have a 4-pin round connector on your motorhome, you would need to add one. You can do this using the Pollak 4-Pole Round Wiring Socket # PK11404. Once you have the plug, you then need to route 16-gauge wire # 16-4B-1 to those pins into your current wiring.

The minimum deck height for the Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set part # GH54FR is 15". If they were used at a lower deck height the start of the ramp would not sit flush to the ground and it would have an upward pitch. This may or may not be an issue depending on the ground clearance of the item.
I have attached a list of our other ramp options below. view full answer...
Curt does require use of a stabilization strap for their Class I Hitches. Normally, you'd use a Stabilizing Strap like part # 18050 but like many hatchback vehicles, you're running into a simple problem that is easy to fix.
For this, you'll want to purchase part # Y02612 , a set of Yakima Glass Hatch adapters. This part will give you an alternate location to hook the stabilizing strap to that will evenly apply pressure to the padded security bar, removing the need to mount the support... view full answer...

I have the perfect trailer wiring harness for your 2016 Mini Clubman. I recommend using the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit part # 119250KIT as this is a complete plug and play kit that comes with everything needed for installation, including a test light. You will also want a mounting bracket like the part # 18144 to secure the trailer connector to the hitch receiver.
As this kit only includes a 4-flat trailer connector,... view full answer...
Yes. When installing the Draw-Tite # 75151 there is going to be some trimming of the plastic fascia required, since this hitch is a concealed cross tube hitch that mounts behind the bumper on your 2009 Mini Clubman. This may sound a bit daunting, but these modifications are really quite easy and can be done with a hole saw and a standard hand drill. This is the only hitch we have available that is a confirmed fit on your 2009 Mini Clubman.
I've added a photo to show the modification that... view full answer...
The screws on the XTC2 on the bottom of the rack should not be so difficult to thread in that it feels like you are tearing something up. Hopefully it's not too late, but you don't want to crossthread those bolts so back them off and try lining up the rack and screws better so that everything threads easier.
Customers of ours have said that having a second set of hands can help greatly to stabilize the rack while the bolts are being threaded in. view full answer...

I looked up the owners manual for your 2022 Mini Clubman, and it specifies to use tire chains on the front tires only, so that's all you'll need for the Konig Tire Chains # TH00023095.
